Discover our Sticky Chai Original, the iconic La Main Noire blend for making your chai lattes. Its «Sticky» (or «Wet Chai») name comes from its glossy and slightly sticky texture, achieved through a traditional manufacturing method: our ingredients are hand-candied in a mixture of wildflower honey and rice syrup.
This natural technique captures and preserves the full aromatic potency of freshly roasted spices and fresh ginger. Combined with an elegant Rwandan black tea (Rukeri O.P. variety), these spices release floral, distinctive and warm notes in the cup, perfectly balanced by the sweetness of honey. A truly gourmet alternative to enhance your coffee or hot chocolate breaks.

For our Sticky Chai Original, we chose a black tea of the Rukeri variety, which comes directly from Rwanda. This specific terroir was selected for the smoothness of its leaves, its elegantly woody notes and its very low bitterness. It is the ideal base to support the strength of our blend while maintaining a round and silky texture on the palate.
Black tea provides the structure and intensity required to create a drink with character. The spices, meanwhile, enrich this profile by adding depth and great aromatic complexity. Together, they create a perfectly balanced and warming base, designed to elevate your indulgent breaks.
